Tired timber frames swapped for powder-coated aluminium — bay windows, folding stack doors, shopfronts and security gates, measured and fitted by our own team.

Replacing timber with aluminium is the single change that does most for an older South African home. Frames stop swelling, sticking and rotting through the rainy season, the glazing lines get thinner so more light comes in, and there is nothing left to sand and varnish every second summer.

We handle the whole swap: measuring the existing opening, manufacturing to size, breaking out the old frame, building in the new one, and making good the plaster and paint around it. You get one team and one written quote for the full job, not a fitter who leaves you to find a plasterer.

We work in powder-coated aluminium in charcoal, bronze, white and natural, and in mild steel where a job calls for gates, balustrades, burglar bars or a structural lintel.

Can you fit aluminium into an existing timber window opening?

Yes — that is most of what we do. We measure the opening, manufacture the frame to suit it, break out the old timber, build the new frame in, and make good the plaster, sill and paint around it so there is no evidence of the swap.

How long does a window or door replacement take?

Manufacturing lead time is the longest part. On site, a single window is usually in and made good within a day, and a run of folding doors within two to three days depending on the opening and the making good needed.

What colours does the aluminium come in?

Powder-coated charcoal, bronze, white and natural silver are the standard finishes and cover almost every job. Other colours can be ordered but add to the lead time.

Do I still need burglar bars behind aluminium?

Not necessarily. Many customers replace bars with laminated safety glass and good locking hardware, which keeps the view clear. If you would rather keep a physical barrier, we can fit steel bars or a security gate that suits the new frame.
